Condition
Gum Health
Gum disease is a range of conditions, from mild gingivitis, where gums become inflamed, to severe periodontitis, which can damage the tissue and bone that hold teeth in place and lead to tooth loss. Coenzyme Q10 and vitamin C are the supplements most often looked at for gum health, though little research on them has been reviewed here so far. Both have a moderate evidence rating overall, but that is a general picture, and it is too early to say what specific trials found for gums.
