Condition

Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection, and while the immune system clears most infections on its own, some high-risk types linger in cervical cells and can lead to cancer over time. Supplements such as AHCC and indole-3-carbinol/DIM draw the most interest, but little research on them has been reviewed here so far. Any evidence that exists is limited, so these remain open questions rather than established options.
