Nail Fungus
Nail fungus, or onychomycosis, is an infection in which fungi invade the nail, most often on the toes, leaving it thick, discolored and brittle. Little research on supplements for it has been reviewed here so far, so there are no trial findings to report for options such as topical tea tree oil or biotin. Both have been discussed for nail health, but the evidence is limited, and it isn't yet clear how well any supplement works for the infection itself.
