Condition
Otitis Media
Otitis media, or middle ear infection, is fluid behind the eardrum that becomes infected, usually after a cold. Xylitol and probiotics are the supplements people look at most for it, but little research on them has been reviewed here so far. Many ear infections ease on their own, though some in young children need antibiotics.
