Condition

Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS)

Prader-Willi syndrome is a genetic condition caused by missing or inactive genes on chromosome 15, affecting about 1 in 15,000 births and touching appetite, muscle tone, growth, and bone health. Little research on supplements for it has been reviewed here so far, so there are no trial findings to report. Vitamin D and calcium are the most discussed because bone thinning is common, but that rests on their general role in bone health rather than on results in people with this condition.
