Supplement
Baby formula is a manufactured food made to stand in for breast milk, giving infants the protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals they need to grow when breastfeeding isn't possible or is supplemented. Families usually look at it as a way to feed a baby, but little research on it has been reviewed here so far. Because of that, there are no findings to report yet, and questions about a particular baby's feeding are best taken to a pediatrician.
