Supplement
Genetically modified organisms are plants, animals, or microbes whose DNA has been deliberately changed in a lab, often to add a trait such as pest resistance or a higher nutrient content in a crop. Little research on them has been reviewed here so far, so there are no findings to report yet. Because they are foods and ingredients rather than a typical supplement, any conclusions would depend heavily on which organism and which change are being discussed.
