Mouthwash

Mouthwash is a liquid rinse swished around the mouth to freshen breath and lower the amount of bacteria and food debris sitting on the teeth, gums and tongue. Little research on it has been reviewed here so far, so there are no trial findings to report yet. Until that changes, it's best to think of it as a everyday oral-care product whose effects on health haven't been weighed up on this page.
