Supplement
Purslane is a leafy succulent plant, and its extract is rich in omega-3 fats and antioxidant compounds that are thought to help calm inflammation in the body. People have mostly looked at it for rheumatoid arthritis, and in one small trial of 77 people, symptoms eased, though the evidence is limited. That is a single study, so it is too early to say how well the result would hold up in larger or longer trials.
