Supplement
Shatavari is an Ayurvedic herb, the root of a plant called Asparagus racemosus, traditionally used to support reproductive health and the hormones involved in making breast milk. People mostly look at it for lactation, but the evidence is very limited: two small trials with 124 people found no clear difference in milk production. Because those studies were few and short on detail, they can't say whether it helps, and most of its reputation still rests on tradition.
