Thermal spring water is mineral-rich water that rises from deep underground, warmed by the earth and carrying dissolved minerals such as calcium, magnesium, sulfur compounds and bicarbonate, and it is traditionally used for bathing and drinking. Little research on it has been reviewed here so far, so there are no findings to report yet. Any benefits people describe are hard to separate from the effects of warm water, rest and the setting itself, and they likely vary with each spring's mineral makeup.
