Uridine

Uridine is a building block of RNA that the body makes on its own and also gets from food, and it helps cells build membranes and produce the genetic material they need. People have mostly looked at it for bipolar disorder, where the small amount of research reviewed found that overall symptoms and depression symptoms improved. That evidence is limited, though: it comes from a single small study of just seven people, so it can't say how well uridine would work for others.
