Adjustment Disorder

Adjustment disorder is a stress-related condition in which someone struggles to cope with a major life change, such as a breakup, job loss, or illness, and develops sadness, anxiety, or sleep trouble beyond what would be expected. Little research on adjustment disorder itself has been reviewed here so far, though ashwagandha and lavender oil have moderate evidence for stress and anxiety more broadly. That wider work may not carry over neatly, so how well they help with this condition remains unclear.
