Condition
Atrial Fibrillation
Atrial fibrillation is a heart rhythm disorder in which the upper chambers beat irregularly and often fast, letting blood pool and sometimes form clots. Magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids have the most support among supplements, both rated moderate, though research on magnesium in about 1,550 people found no clear difference in deaths from any cause. Evidence for others, such as coenzyme Q10 and taurine, is limited.
