Condition
B5 Deficiency
B5 deficiency is a shortage of pantothenic acid, a vitamin the body needs to build coenzyme A, which helps turn food into energy; it is very rare and mostly seen with severe malnutrition. Vitamin B5 itself has the strongest evidence, and in a large study of 200 people, deficiency symptoms went down. That comes from a single set of results, so it says little about anything beyond those symptoms.
