Wound Healing
Wound healing is the body's repair process after skin is cut or damaged, in which clotting, inflammation, new tissue growth and collagen building work in sequence to close the gap. Among supplements, the evidence is strongest for vitamin B5, where wounds closed faster in about 500 participants, and moderate for copper and manganese, which also raised wound closure rates. The copper and manganese findings came from about 160 people, and the studies were only moderate in size, so the results are encouraging but not settled.
