Condition
Diabetic Microangiopathy
Diabetic microangiopathy is damage to the body's smallest blood vessels caused by diabetes, and it underlies diabetic eye and kidney disease while contributing to nerve damage. Among supplements, the evidence is moderate for gotu kola, where trials found blood flow went up, and limited for curcumin, where one study found the same. Both studies were small, with about 100 and 25 people, so the picture is still early.
