Condition
Venous Hypertension
Venous hypertension is abnormally high pressure in the leg veins, usually because faulty valves let blood flow backward and pool in the legs, a pattern known as chronic venous insufficiency. Horse chestnut extract and diosmin/hesperidin are the two supplements with the strongest evidence behind them for this condition. Little research on either has been reviewed here so far, though, so there are no trial findings to report yet, and the other supplements people try have less support still.
