Endocrine Function
Endocrine function describes how the body's hormone-producing glands, such as the thyroid, adrenals, pancreas and pineal gland, release chemical messengers that steer metabolism, growth, sleep and stress responses. Among supplements, the peptide epitalon has been looked at for pineal gland function, and studies found a small improvement in markers of how that gland worked. The evidence is limited, though: it rests on five small studies with 65 people in total, so it's too early to say how much this matters in daily life.
