Condition

Low Testosterone

Low testosterone, or hypogonadism, happens when the body makes too little of the main male sex hormone, which supports muscle, bone, energy, mood and libido. Vitamin D and zinc have the most support among supplements, with moderate evidence, and small trials in men with late-onset low testosterone found erections went up with tribulus. Most studies were small, though, and testosterone replacement remains the most effective option for true hypogonadism.
