Condition

Stable Angina

Stable angina is predictable chest pain or pressure during exertion or stress, caused by too little blood reaching the heart muscle. Coenzyme Q10 and L-carnitine have the strongest evidence, rated moderate, and both are thought to support the heart's energy supply; L-carnitine trials have been pooled in a meta-analysis. Still, a single study of Terminalia arjuna found no clear difference in exercise tolerance, and evidence for it is very limited.
