What changed

What stayed the same

The evidence grades, the studies behind them, the way we grade, and the rule that grades never depend on what we sell. How we grade.

Why

We changed the name because we are not doctors, and the old name suggested we were. Seth Pratt, who edits the site, is a health coach (AFPA), not a physician.

The name

Winnowing is the old way of tossing grain in the wind so the chaff blows away. That is our job with supplement research: what works, what doesn’t, and how sure we are.

Not a supplement brand

Winnowleaf is a free, independent evidence guide. We don’t make or sell any supplement of our own, and we are not affiliated with Winnow Labs or any supplement brand.
