Supplement
IP6, also called inositol hexaphosphate or phytic acid, is a compound found in grains, beans, and seeds that binds minerals and takes part in cell signaling. With no single main use established, the best-supported finding is about uric acid: in one small crossover trial of 25 people with high uric acid, blood levels went down, and the evidence is limited. That is a single short study, so it needs repeating in larger groups before anyone can say how far the result holds.
