Glucose Metabolism
Glucose metabolism is the way your body turns the sugar in food into energy, with the hormone insulin helping cells pull glucose out of the blood. Manganese has limited evidence, as insulin sensitivity went up in small research covering 200 people. Banana flower has very limited evidence: fasting glucose stayed the same in one human trial, though HbA1c fell in another. Banana flower's animal results looked more promising than its human ones.
