Condition
Trismus
Trismus, often called lockjaw, is a limit on how wide the mouth opens, usually because the jaw muscles tighten or swell after surgery, injury or radiation. Serratiopeptidase, an enzyme supplement, has the most direct trial data, and studies after wisdom tooth surgery found inflammation went down. Those studies were small, about 110 people in all, so the evidence is limited and mostly reflects dental surgery.
