Detoxification
Detoxification is the body's work of turning unwanted compounds, from food, medicines and its own metabolism, into forms it can clear, mostly through liver enzymes and then out in bile and urine. Among supplements, molybdenum is the one with research so far, and a study found that aldehyde metabolism went up. The evidence is limited, though, since it came from a small study of about 100 people.
