Condition
Molybdenum Deficiency
Molybdenum deficiency is a rare condition where the body lacks the trace mineral molybdenum, which enzymes need to break down sulfur-containing amino acids. Molybdenum supplements are the option studied, and in a large group of 250 people, the evidence is strong that blood molybdenum levels went up. That result is about blood levels, though, so it says little about how people felt or whether symptoms changed.
