Condition
Pathological Gambling (PG)
Gambling disorder is a behavioral addiction in which people keep gambling despite real harm, tied to the brain's dopamine reward pathways and weakened impulse control. Little research on supplements for it has been reviewed here so far, though N-acetyl cysteine has been studied specifically for gambling, and the one review available looks at vitamin D and mental health more broadly. The evidence is moderate for N-acetyl cysteine and limited for everything else.
